Chassis: Engineered and Certified
The new generation 2026 Toura X has been built to exceed expectations for an off-road caravan. Millard has partnered with highly reputable specialised firms in Victoria to build the foundation of the van. Working closely with Alko engineering, the new generation 2026 Toura X is built on an Alko TRUSS chassis, flat floor, that comes in a galvanised finish. Optional choices are SuperGal painted charcoal or Enduro Finish.
Single Axle Suspension: Cruisemaster ATX Air Level 3
The premium all terrain ATX air suspension from Cruisemaster has led the way for independent trailer suspension systems for well over 10 years.

ATX Air is widely regarded as the ultimate all-terrain suspension system. The Cruisemaster ATX independent air suspension has led the way for independent suspensions for well over 10 years now. The suspension has been designed, tested and manufactured in Australia by Cruisemaster, Australia’s leader in all terrain towing technology.

The Cruisemaster ATX air suspension can be adjusted to allow for a varying load without compromising ride quality. For many the true value comes into play at the campground. Lower and level your van to improve access and stability on uneven ground.
External Construction
Wall: Aluminium Frame
Millard was one of the first to pioneer the change back in 1970’s. The revolutionary change from timber Meranti wall structure to aluminium pot riveted wall structure. This pioneering change created two distinct advantages:
- Weight saving and elimination of wood rot (hidden, unseen and structurally invasive)
Although proven and copied by others Millard has taken the Aluminium wall engineering structure to the next level of design and strength.
The next evolution for Millard in 2026 was to further improve on its wall structure. This has been accomplished by using the same principles in the building construction sector to reinforce larger spans or cut out openings by utilising fully extrude aluminium railing welded to the pot riveted cross beams.
For our off-road vans – Toura X additional aluminium cross beam bracing has been installed in critical wall sections to ensure there are no limits to your adventures.
The aluminium frame is fully insulated with XPS water resistant foam. The XPS is routed for the electrical cabling. The engineered internal fibreglass walls act as waterproof membrane to minimise internal condensation.

Roof: One Piece highly insulated
Millard exclusively have designed and produced a new one piece insulated roof panel which is a game changer for the industry. This change remains an integral part of Millard’s construction to improve strength and insulation. The construction of the roof is a 42mm one piece, with an external aluminium skin, XPS foam then an internal fibreglass semi-gloss skin. This new roof construction not only improves the insulation factor for those hot and cold days but matches the colour used on the side flat cladding panels. The aluminium flat panel is 3mm with a durable long lasting PVDF finish.
Flooring: Highly Insulated
Millard exclusively have designed, ENGINEERED and produced a new insulated FLOOR which is a game changer for the industry. This engineering change remains an integral part of Millard’s construction to improve strength and insulation. The construction of the floor is revolutionary as it is a combination of a honeycomb top layer with an underside composite panel. The overall floor thickness is 42mm, setting a high standard for the industry. This new floor construction not only improves the insulation factor for those hot and cold days but improves strength, thermal properties and a sturdy hard wearing underside resulting in a well-engineered foundation for your caravan.
Interior: Designed for a 5 star hotel
The new generation 2026 Toura X has been beautifully designed by combining classic proportions, additional features such as bedside tables, downlights, soft LED strip lighting, additional storage features, phone recharging points, starlink, Fusion surround sound, full height pantries, and an exclusive tiltable bed, allowing you to sit up while reading a good book with a hot tea or coffee. When fully flat the mattress stretches out to 2 metres in length. For our family vans in selected models, we have a king bed to allow your young ones to jump in and cuddle up to enjoy these precious unforgettable times. The Toura X palette sits well on all backdrops with a great choice internal colourway, 5 external flat panel colours and 5 decals options. This allows you to either remain low-key or stand out from the crowd.
